Do you need some suggestions for last minute cruises to the Caribbean - Alaska - Mediterranean - Bermuda - Disney and more…

Which Caribbean To Choose?

Which side to choose?

The most common itineraries offered in the internet and cruise brochures are Eastern Caribbean and Western Caribbean .

But Which is Which?

Well, it all depends on your interests. But certainly both will provide cruisers with opportunities to sail, snorkel, swim, and go shopping. Although, there are differences which are as follows:

For Eastern Caribbean Cruises, cruise ships on 7-day itineraries embark from Florida .

The Bahamas , St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas , and St. John are the usual ports of call Eastern cruise. For less sailing time, but more shopping time and chances to go to fantastic beaches, definitely Eastern cruise will be more apt to you.

For Western Caribbean Cruises, ships will embark from New Orleans , Texas , or Florida . The ports of call include Costa Rica , Belize , Mexico (the mainland) Jamaica , Dominican Republic (larger islands), grand Cayman, Mexico , Playa del Carmen or Cozumel . More sailing is involved on a western cruise due to the fact hat the ports are further apart. Because of this, there will be more time at sea than the beach.

But what happens if you’ve done both Eastern and Western Caribbean ?Well, Southern and Northern Caribbean awaits for you fro another day!
