Will single cruise works for those who travel alone? Is it more affordable?

Prices usually cater to those with double occupancy. If you can find a friend or even a group of friends to split costs on a room on single cruises so that you will save money. If you don’t know anyone, you can share a room with someone that you meet on the cruise message board with the same interests and personality or you can be assigned by the travel agency. If you are not sure that you want to share, you can always request a single occupancy room, but you will have to pay more so its really up to you.

If you want to take advantage of the singles activities on one of the single cruises you have to be registered with the group. You will not be allowed to participate in the member-exclusive parties and activities if you dont register. You may be able to get some added discounts and perks by going this route.

You can find cruises for singles of any length, but cost and experience may determine which you choose so if you have never been on a cruise you may decide to try a shorter one first.
